Plastic Film Squeezer Machine
About this video
The plastic squeezing machine is designed to dewater soft plastics such as films and woven bags after washing. It can be used as part of a plastic film washing line or on its own.
Compared with removing water by heating and hot-air drying, squeezing needs a smaller footprint, uses less energy and runs with less noise.
Key points
- Dewatering of washed film and woven bags
- Works with a film washing line or stand-alone
- Smaller footprint than thermal drying
- Lower energy consumption and noise
What the video shows
- Washed film and woven bags are fed into the squeezer.
- Water is pressed out mechanically instead of being evaporated with heated air.
- The dewatered material is discharged for pelletizing or storage.
Typical configuration
- Materials
- Washed films and woven bags
- Installation
- In a film washing line or stand-alone
- Compared with thermal drying
- Smaller footprint, lower energy use, less noise

- 3–5%
Questions buyers ask
Why use a squeezer instead of a thermal dryer for film?
Film holds water between its layers. A squeezer presses that water out mechanically, so it needs less space and energy than heating and hot-air drying and runs more quietly.
Can the squeezer be used on its own?
Yes. It can work as the dewatering stage of a plastic film washing line or as a separate machine for washed soft plastics.
