Material-specific crushing

One crusher is not right for every plastic.

Bottle walls, flexible film, thick pipe and rigid molded parts behave differently in the cutting chamber. We configure feeding, rotor, knives, screen and wet or dry operation around the actual feedstock.

Crusher configurations by material

PET bottle crusher
01

PET bottle crusher

For sorted or baled PET bottles before washing and separation.

PE / PP film crusher
02

PE / PP film crusher

For loose or compacted flexible film with feeding designed to limit wrapping.

Rigid plastic crusher
03

Rigid plastic crusher

For bottles, containers, crates and prepared HDPE or PP scrap.

Pipe & sheet crusher
04

Pipe & sheet crusher

For cut pipe, profiles, sheet and extrusion offcuts.

Heavy crusher
05

Heavy crusher

For thicker, denser prepared parts that require a reinforced cutting chamber.

Rotor and knives

What determines the result

Rotor and knives

Knife layout is selected for the material form and required cutting action.

Screen control

The screen retains oversize pieces until they are small enough to discharge.

Wet or dry operation

Water can be introduced when the crusher is integrated into a washing process.

Service access

Replaceable knives and accessible wear areas support routine maintenance.

How plastic crushing works

  1. 1

Feed prepared plastic into the hopper.

  2. 2

Rotor knives cut material against fixed knives.

  3. 3

The screen controls the maximum discharge size.

  4. 4

Flakes discharge to washing, drying or granulation.

Select from the material, not only the motor size.

Send representative photos, largest feed dimensions, polymer type, contamination, target throughput and required flake size. These details determine the feeding method, rotor, chamber and screen.

Crusher or shredder?

A crusher typically produces smaller, screen-controlled flakes from prepared feed. A shredder is better for bulky, long or difficult material and may feed a crusher as the first stage.

Plastic crusher FAQ

Can one crusher process PET, film and pipe?

Some machines can cover more than one prepared material, but the feeding and cutting configuration should match the main feedstock. Mixed requirements need engineering review.

What output size can I request?

Output is controlled mainly by the screen and material behavior. Share the required downstream specification so the screen and rotor can be selected together.

Can the crusher work in a washing line?

Yes. A crusher can be configured for wet crushing and integrated before separation and washing equipment.

What information is needed for a quotation?

Material photos, polymer, feed dimensions, contamination, hourly capacity, output size and the next processing step.

Configure the crusher around your feedstock.
